Light Freight Service™ from Mail & More provides a convenient and cost effective shipping solution for items that cannot be shipped through typical carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS or DHL. These items are usually too big or too heavy or too many to be accommodated by the regular carriers.
Typical carriers have a length restriction of 108 inches and a length plus girth (around) restriction of 165 inches. Furthermore, the weight limit is 165 pounds. These limits do vary by carrier and destination. Light Freight Service™ from Mail & More eliminates these restrictions by selecting common carriers that accommodate large or heavy items.
At Mail & More, we can custom pack items using our state of the art packing and crating techniques. Proper packing ensures your precious items will arrive intact and reduces the probability of insurance claims. Our expert staff knows what it takes to ensure that your items are secure throughout the packing and shipping stages. Our custom packing and crating techniques can accommodate large, fragile and valuable items.

Q: How much does it cost to ship freight?
A: The shipping cost varies by dimensions, weight and destination. Freight costs are generally a little less than shipping the equivalent weight in smaller parcels. As an example, a 4 foot cube of items on a pallet shipping to California could be about $300.
Q: How can I find out if you can ship my items?
A: Just stop in or call our shipping experts. Generally, any non-hazardous item that can fit onto a pallet can be shipped.
Q: What freight carriers do you use?
A: We use freight consolidators that add our palletized items to other loads thus saving time and money. The freight carrier is not determined ahead of time but all carriers are expert shippers with exemplary records.
Q: Can my items be insured?
A: Most items can be insured. Some items, like flat screen TVs and monitors, are not insurable.
Q: How soon can my items be delivered?
A: Delivery times are determined by factors like the destination and weather conditions. Typically, shipping from Texas to the Northeast or Northwest takes about four business days.
Q: Do you pick up items?
