Q: Who can Ship Wine?
A: State and Federal regulations limit shipments of wine and other alcoholic beverages. Licensed entities such as wineries and retail package stores can ship wine if they also have a contract with a designated carrier such as UPS. Additionally, independent shipping locations, such as Postmark’d, can ship wine through the UPS Wine program. Consumers who legally purchase wine from a Texas licensed entity can ship the wine to themselves or others through Postmark’d if the licensed entity is on the Postmark’d approved licensee list.
Note: Please check with our wine shipping agent to see if the wine you intend to purchase can be shipped through Postmark’d.

Q: Who can Receive Wine?
A: Adults (21 years or older) living in states that allow wine shipments to be received can accept a wine shipment. The wine can be shipped to yourself as the purchaser or another adult.

Q: Can wine be shipped with other items?
A: No. Postmark’d does not allow shipping wine with other items. The wine bottles must be packed in special containers and shipped separate. However, a gift card or note can be included with the wine shipment.

Q: How many bottles of wine can I ship at a time?
A: State laws vary on the amount of wine that can be shipped by or to an individual. Ask our Wine Shipping Agent about your specific situation.

Q: Does Postmark’d keep records of wine shipments?
A: Yes. Although state laws vary on requiring such records, Postmark’d does maintain records of shipper’s and recipient’s contact information as well as the amount of shipments by date.

Q: Can wine be shipped internationally?
A: No, only domestic shipments are allowed.

Q: Can wine be shipped via USPS or FedEx?
A: No. Postmark’d can only ship wine via UPS.

Q: Can I use my own UPS account number to ship wine through Postmark’d?
A: No. Postmark’d can only ship wine through it’s own account number.
